About Rhema Church Reno
Rhema Christian Fellowship was established in 2001 by divine mandate and inspiration of Elder Beatrice A. Ogundimu (our Presiding Elder) as given to her by our father in the Lord, Bishop (Dr.) Taiwo Akinola, the Presiding Bishop of Rhema Christian Church and Towers International since 1994 when she migrated to Reno, Nevada and other founding members like Elder Victoria Olaegbe and Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Oluwafemifola Gbenjo.
On July 14th, 2007, Rhema Christian Fellowship, Reno metamorphosed to a full-fledged church of God to raise a glorious assembly of Jesus’ people, a people of power, purity, and purpose. “And in this place will I give peace” saith the Lord.
The first Set of ordained ministers are Pastor Oluwafemi Gbenjo (Resident Pastor); Elder Beatrice Adenike Ogundimu (Presiding Elder); Elder Victoria Olayinka Olaegbe and Deaconess Folake Taiwo Gbenjo. They are referred to as “The Miracle Team Members.
Current Miracle Team Members are: Pastor Oluwafemi Gbenjo (Resident Pastor); Pastor (Mrs.) Folake Gbenjo (Executive Pastor); Pastor Aderopo Owomoyela (Associate Pastor); Pastor Bola Bayewunmi (Associate Pastor); Elder Beatrice Ogundimu (Presiding Elder); Elder Victoria Olaegbe; Elder Bridget Igbekoyi; Deacon Dapo Oyerinde; Deaconess Joy Owomoyela; Deaconess Tosin Okunola and Deaconess Piera Mburia. The Patrons and Matrons are: Dr. Felix Igbekoyi, Pa. Benson Osawe, and Senior Deaconess Edith Osawe. With consistent prayer, we are seeing God move in this church, as His presence is increasingly mighty in our midst. We are excited to see what the future holds. Whatever it holds, we are prepared, with God’s help to be at the forefront of God’s work here on earth.
These signs and wonders are with the fervent prayers and support from the miracle team members, Rhema Voices International and all other church workers and members of Rhema Christian Church, Reno Nevada as a whole. This is evident in our daily increase in the numbers of new members, newborn babies, marriages and other numerous blessings in the church.
